The above pictures are Wilson, known as Bear while he was with Vom Blue. Wilson was the very first dog Vom Blue took into rescue. He was a very skinny 98 pounds and very sick with upper respiratory. After getting him to the vet and in better health we found him a wonderful home in Louisville, KY who loved him dearly for the last 6 years. On 12-12-2009 Wilson passed away of old age with his adoptive mom by his side. He made many friends in his life and was able to show a lot of people the true gentle nature of the Rottweiler.
Rest in peace sweet Wilson...you will be in our hearts forever !

The day I was told I was able to give you a home I cried, the day you crossed the Rainbow Bridge in my arms I cried as did the angels also because it started to rain that day I said my final goodbye to you. Astro, you touched every ones heart not only with all of the silly things you did but with all of your love, companionship and kisses you so willingly gave. ChloeSweet baby Chloe passed away on 12-19-2007 .. She contracted parvo from the ground and after spending 3 days at the vet on IV fluids she took a turn for the worst and went to the rainbow bridge.

10-12-2007 to 12-19-2007 , Christmas puppy, Chloe joined our family on the 8th of December 2007 bringing with her great joy. On the 19th of December 2007 Chloe passed on after catching a disease, taking with her a piece of my family’s heart. My daughter came to me and asked me to listen to her letter she wrote about Chloe. This is what she wrote.

I once had a puppy I loved but she passed away. It was hard at first but she would want me to be happy. I was only 9 when this happened. But she is in a better place right now. I will always love her. I’m sure she will remember me. It’s still hard but I’m sure she is ok. This is a day I won’t forget because I lost my puppy this day. She was a fun dog. She loved to go outside. I always loved to snuggle her. She was the best dog in the world. RIP gorgeous Chloe...you will never be forgotten.

Max ( AKA Olivier )
Max the rottie boy was rescued from a high kill shelter after he had been thrown from a vehicle onto a HWY along with his brother who sadly didnt make it. Max came to Vom Blue when he was 12 weeks old , he suffered from partial brain damage , partial blindness and partial deafness but that didnt slow him down .... he stayed with us until one day a wonderful family came along and gave him a wonderful new home . Sadly when Max was 7 months old the pain was too much and he was sent to the rainbow bridge to relieve him from the suffering. Rest in peace baby boy...you fought so hard and we love you !

Delilah
Delilah was our gorgeous Blue Doberman girl who was rescued from a neglectful home. She was adopted to a wonderful family but sadly was only with them for a short time. Delilah you are deeply missed by Vom Blue and your family....you are in a better place now and run free without any pain gorgeous girl.

Lucy
Sweet baby Lucy passed away from complications of her spay surgery. She will be deeply missed by her Vom Blue family. RIP Sweet Girl

Tank came to us as a 12 week old pup that could barely walk. He had a condition that affected the growth of his bones, joints and muscles because of malnutrition and starvation. His foster mom decided to adopt him and give him the best care he could have. At a little over ayear old Tank could no longer bend his legs causing him extreme pain..so the tough decision was made to send him to the Rainbow Bridge. RIP sweet Tank..we will miss you :(

Sweet baby Prissy passed away tonight in my arms and lost the battle to pneumonia . She fought for 3 long days and just couldnt fight it anymore . She passed away at 10:10 pm . RIP baby girl you are not suffering anymore :(

Trooper took a turn for the worst on 9-11-06 and passed away on 9-12-2006 at 8:45 am . My foster mom Jennifer did everything she could for me but I couldnt be saved . I suffered to much neglect in my short life :( RIP little Trooper....you will always be remembered , You were named trooper because you put up such a fight ...we love you our little trooper .

9-14-2006 @ 4 pm Kato lost his life to pneumonia ...he couldnt fight it off anymore . RIP baby boy ...you are forever in our hearts :(

Our sweet Toby was taken from us on Tuesday, January 25th by parvo. All our hearts are broken.

She was a lovable and playful fur ball. Typical puppy, calm and restrained one minute and a ball of uncontrollable energy the next. My son was unsure of her at times because she could be so wild but since we lost her he hasn't talked about how she would jump on him or accidentally scratch him, he has only talked about how cute she was and how much he misses her and that if we ever get another puppy he wants her to be just as cute as Katie and he says that we can name her Katie too. We only had her a couple of months but we loved her and we miss her.
